The longs days of summer...a beautiful thing? different schedules, sleeping in, no homework, playing with friends, hanging out with your family-great right? Yeah, most of the time. However, lately, I have been feeling a little too much togetherness with my brood of 4.
Inspired by my sister-in-law Amy's blog, www.franklyjournaling.blogspot.com, I decided to do some investigative research as to why I am a little cranky. Amy did a hilarious post about how many questions her kids asked in a single day. Hmmmmmm.. maybe there is something to this in my fam as well?
I decided to do some of my own tallying, and I found some very interesting findings...
And they are...
All my kids like to ask questions, but the majority of questions come from one particular kid. In fact, this kid (I tallied it) asked 16 questions before 7: 45 am this morning. Good thing I am up and with some coffee well before this!
FACT: this same kid also says, "I love talking."
FACT: this kid was told in the grocery store today that "You have used up your question quota for the morning."
Yeah-she totally understood that.
I love her and should note that I was known to ask just a few questions in my day as well......
Karen, you make me laugh! And you're STILL a question girl yourself, you know... That's what we love about you -- that you like to ask people questions!
Keep giving Grace grace. :) (I know it's hard to keep answering, though, I know.)
