Boyer Favorite Things 2010

 

Tom- hiking to Cathedral rock in AZ, the Capitol tour in DC, stroller derby in the tunnel to the Library of Congress, roller coaster at Idelwild, eating Pringles and drinking East End brew for my 40^th, catching crayfish with the P-street kids, taking Grace, Eden and Nate to Jars of Clay/Brandon Heath concert, seeing the Pittsburgh sights with my brother and family, reading the Bible in a year, playing sharks and minnows when Mom is not home.

 

Karen-reading the Gettysburg address at the Lincoln Memorial, trip to Ohio with all the cousins, reading “The Giver” with Nate, visiting Faith Ranch with Eden, seeing “Memphis” with my sisters and my Mom in NYC, hosting boys bible study at our house, Sedona with Tom,  celebrating my 40^th, having our Colorado family for a Pittsburgh vacation, running a ½ marathon for Haiti,  having a teeny bit of peace with all 4 kids in school. J

 

Nathaniel “Nate”-(11)  my sixth grade class at PUCS, my cousin Strider coming to visit, front-yard football and ghost in the graveyard all summer long, “The Giver”, visiting The Ford Theatre in DC, seeing the Lincoln Memorial, Devil’s Den at Gettysburg, history class, travel soccer, and pitching for the All stars this year.

 

Eden (9)-the summer of Monopoly, Faith Ranch, “Diary of a Wimpy Kid”, silly bands, rollerskating, writing stories in school, Jars of Clay concert with Dad, going up the Washington monument, Daddy/Daughter special trip, the Ohio State Fair petting zoo, Ligonier Camp-caving, polar bears, and CLUB all for the first time.

 

Grace- (6) playing with my cousins in Ohio, Kindergarten, gymnastics, playing soccer, Junie B. Jones’ and Magic Tree house books, movie nights, going to Idelwild, Pop Pop and Grammy camp for the first time,

 

Sam- (4)  Legoes, playing good guys/bad guys, swimming this summer and at Blackwater Falls, slip –n –slide at GiGi’s house,  The Children’s museum, starting school for the first time, noodles, Daddy, doing dance moves.
